ROCHESTER, MN – A 15 1/2 pound baby was born in Minnesota last week!
Wendi and Michael Dolton of Rochester, Minn. were expecting their soon-to-be-born child to be big. Even 12 pounds would not have surprised them!
Wendi says she was a large baby, weighing in at over 10 pounds. Doctors had to break her shoulders in order to get her out of her mother!
However, the couple were still not expecting their baby boy, Axel Laverne Dolton, to be 15 pounds 6 ounces!

I forget the actual term but a lot of large babies are caused by diabeties while pregnant. Just an FYI to everyone.
