NATIONAL ORGANIZATION FOR MARRIAGE

PRINCETON, NJ – An internal memo from the National Organization for Marriage was discovered yesterday, revealing ideas for their next ad campaign.

The National Organization for Marriage describes themselves as “a nonprofit organization with a mission to protect marriage and the faith communities that sustain it.” Heavily active during the Proposition 8 fight in California, the group have emerged in the public eye again due to an over-the-top ad campaign that was recently released.

See the ad below:

The Human Rights Campaign responded with digging up and releasing the awkward audition tapes of the commercial’s actors. But just yesterday, Weekly World News received a scan of an internal memo listing out ideas for their next ad campaign.

The focus will be on the signs of the future Death of Society, presumably what will happen if same-sex marriage is allowed.

The list included:

  1. High school proms have mandatory drag dress code
  2. National anthem changed to “It’s Raining Men”
  3. Bridal shop owners must carry women’s pant suits
  4. Christian doctors forced to treat drag queens for waxing injuries
  5. The American flag is updated to include all rainbow colors
  6. All college freshman girls required to “experiment” for a minimum of two months
  7. Only same-sex couples will receive insurance benefits
  8. Terms like “husband” and “wife” will be banned as sexist, and usage will result in stiff fines
  9. Same-sex couples will be given preferential treatment by adoption agencies
  10. Dollar bills will be redesigned to include new portraits; $20 bill will feature Eleanor Roosevelt

A spokesperson from NOM refused to confirm or deny the authenticity of the memo, only stating, “They are certainly realistic possibilities, and we hope all Americans seriously consider that.”

  1. I'm quite sure that all those activists will hunt down who these actors are and make sure they never get work again anywhere. I'm sure the people the actors are portraying are taking the heat for them. so the homo wackos don't show up at their place of work.

  2. I was so moved by the NOM ad that a made a video that copares the ad with images the Klan used to promote antisemitism, anti-Catholism, and nativism.

  3. I hope someone will keep track of teen suicide rates during this very distasteful media blitz by the National Organization of Marriage. I can assure you that there will be some closeted teens and adults out there that will surrender their lives when they see it. Many young people will decide that they do not want to live under that cloud of shame so artfully depicted in this ad. I only wish the government could pull the ad. Disguised as angels, these brokers of lies squeeze the spirit until it disengages from the world. Shame on them.

  4. I believe all of this anti-gay marriage is coming directly from the Catholic Church. They're afraid that if gay marriage is legalized, they'll lose over half of their priests. Then they'll have to allow women to be priests. Heaven forbid!

  5. Well … in Canada it actually has fallen if you don't believe in the gay lifestyle.

Say anything against it publicly, and you are taken to court and fined.

So why is okay for gays to bash conservatives … but not okay for Christians to say that they don't agree with the lifestyle? Who is the hate monger? Read the comments here …. I left that lifestyle and we are only beginning to see the anger and hostility towards anyone who doesn't agree with the militant gay agenda (not all gays respond this way).

Why am I torn apart when I happen to NOT agree?

  6. It’s difficult for me to read about this topic as most of the comments are based on incredible ignorance, religious bigotry or a reflection of the continuance of our moral decay as a society. “Man is like water…..he seeks his lowest levels.”

  7. Most states have civil unions or co-habitation laws that give a same sex partner the same basic rights as traditional marriage. Anyone can sign a “power of attorney” and give those rights to anyone else. The term gay marriage is actually an oxymoron, gay referring to same sex and marriage by definition heterosexual. Those who believe in traditional marriage are not attacking gays, it is the other way around. Those supporting traditional marriage are standing in the same place they have been for thousands of years. Carrie Prejean, as Miss California, not only stood up courageously for the things she believed (remember Hilton only asked her opinion) but the majority of the citizens of this country and the world. Tens of millions of people have voted for legislation protecting the institution of traditional marriage in 34 states, including Proposition 8 in California.

  8. i am so glad finally we are hearing the majority of people are defending marriage. Thirty states
have approved definition only between a man and a woman. We should boycott those errant ones.
