Twitter exploded into life during the airing of the latest edition of the Mark Burnett-produced series with comments about The President playing the devil. Some thought it was just a look-a-like:
White House sources told WWN that, “the President has always wanted to try his hand at acting. So when Mark Burnett approached him to play the devil in a mini-series, the President leaped at the chance.”
Sources say that The President only had to spend two days on the set of the mini-series and the only events that the shoot interrupted was a golf game he had scheduled with Bill Clinton, who ironically also wanted to play the devil.
Reports say President Obama is proud of his performance and is actively seeking other roles in Hollywood. Some say he would like to play Batman – in a reboot of the iconic series.
