Robert Griffin III, quarterback for the Washington Redskins, was inviting to a meeting at Congress to help solve the fiscal crisis.

The Washington Redskins rookie quarterback has already built himself a brand in the mold of Michael Jordan, LeBron James and Peyton Manning.  And the one thing that EVERY Democrat and Republican can agree on is that Robert Griffin III knows how to win.

“We haven’t gotten anywhere for two months with this fiscal cliff,” said former Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi.  “RGIII knows how to bring people together and he knows how to lead.  We feel confident that he can help resolve the crisis.”

RGIII told WWN that he believes he can solve the debt ceiling crisis and the tax increase issues within a few short hours.  “It’s just a matter of getting everybody to play together and work toward the common goal.  We all want to get that touchdown, so we’re going to have to come together.  We can’t beat ourselves.  We have to believe we can do it, and then go out and get it done.”

Speaker of the House John Boehner feels the RGIII “is probably the only man in Washington who can put an end to the stalmate.  “RGIII is real leader.  President Obama can learn a lot from him.”

President Obama has encouraged RGIII to get involved.  “The President is a big fan of The Washington Redskins, and believes RGIII can get it done.  Actually, the President would rather negotiate with athletes and musicians than politicians.”

Before beginning his headline-grabbing career with the Redskins, Griffin played for Baylor University, a Christian college in Waco, Texas, where he won the Heisman Trophy in 2011. And in 2012, he signed a four-year contract worth a reported $21.1 million after being selected second overall in the draft.
