Psy, the Korean pop-star with the #1 Youtube hit, Gangnam Style, will be featured at the Super Bowl on Feb. 3, 2013.
NFL confirmed the news Tuesday afternoon after Psy posted a photo of herself sporting eye black, where “Feb. 3” is written on one and “2013” on the other, on her Tumblr page. The Super Bowl is set for Feb. 3, 2013 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.
Psy will reportedly performing the song with a very special guest – Barack Obama. The President and his family love Psy’s hit song and will be doing the horse dance with Psy during the halftime show..
Psy will also use the Super Bowl to tray to solve the conflict between North Korea and South Korea. “Psy wants to use the Super Bowl to bring about peace in his country. He hopes to use both North Korean and South Korean dancers in his halftime show.
Madonna performed at halftime at this year’s Super Bowl in February with guests CeeLo Green, Nicki Minaj, LMFAO and M.I.A. The New York Giants beat the New England Patriots in a thrilling rematch of the contest four years earlier.
