Lindsay Lohan has signed on to join the reality cast of MTV’s new series – Buckwild!
Fresh off her disastrous performance as Elizabeth Taylor in Lifetime’s “Liz & Dick”, Lindsay Lohan has signed onto a new project. MTV has reportedly agreed to pay Lohan $2 million to join the cast of Buckwild, a new reality series about nine young-adult friends in small-town West Virginia who say they are living by the motto, “Whatever happens, happens.”
Lohan has never been to West Virginia, nor does she know the other cast members but her agent told WWN, “Lindsay has always acted like an out-of-control West Virginian girl. When she went there to shoot the first episode, they all got along great. Lindsay feels at home in West Virginia.”
The features the cast riding down hills inside giant tires, driving trucks dangerously through mud, tearing up the trails on ATVs and motorcycles, drinking, body licking, fighting with neighbors, and doing Jackass-y stunts that sometimes involve construction equipment. And Lohan is right in the middle of it all. “Lindsay clubs a few deer with a baseball bat, drinks Moonshine and basically has sex with all the cast members – guys and girls,” said a producer close the show. “It’s the best MTV show ever, and the best thing Lindsay has ever done.”
Here’s Lindsay “lighting one up”:
Buckwild debuts Jan. 3 at 10 p.m., and MTV will be airing two half-hour episodes back-to-back each week for six weeks, which means that conservative watchdog groups will have a fairly small window in which to be up in arms.
If you just can’t wait, here’s a sneak peek at the nine “Buckwild” castmembers:
The outgoing former high school prom king (who missed the dance because he had to work) has tried every gig from mining to garbage man. His hobbies include mudding, hunting and four-wheeling.
Known around town as a Southern belle, nursing student Shae has been chased around by just about every eligible bachelor in Sissonville, yet always ends up with the bad boys. Oh yeah, her first kiss was on the back of a four-wheeler.
She comes from the nicer part of town, but Anna prefers getting down and dirty in creeks and is trying to figure out what she wants to do with her life.
A washed-up Hollywood star who comes to the town to join the gang in the making of a reality show. She’s loud, wild and kick-ass. She wins the mud wrestling competition and can shoot a shotgun with any of the guys.
Shain’s best friend since they were toddlers, Joey fancies himself a ladies’ man with a reckless “Jackass” heart.
She may be a girl, but Ashley likes being one of the guys and is always happy to stir up drama in the crew.
After growing up in the biggest college town in West Virginia (Morgantown), Cara knows her way around the bar scene but had to leave the big city after too much drama with her ex.
Don’t let his innocent good looks fool you: Tyler is a heartbreaker who works at his dad’s company.
Though she’s a well-rounded college girl, Katie prefers to spend her free time with her Sissonville pals, who like to push the danger-averse worrier to her limits.
The recent college graduate lives at home with her strict parents but takes any chance she can to break away and get the party started.
