Penn showed up overnight with a boat to personally go rescue some stranded people in Staten Island, announcing that “Italian-Americans are suffering, we must all help!”

Penn told the 100+ reporters he brought along with him, that he wants to personally help all the Italian-Americans that are suffering in Staten Island.  “The government isn’t doing enough for these people.   I am here to make sure everyone gets enough water, food and… heat.  And… to make sure the camera captures it all for my new documentary, Yo Staten Island,”  Penn reportedly told reporters.
Penn flew into New York on his rescue mission.  He had a gaggle of photographers recording every move.  He even brought a woman from New Orleans with him, just to show how much he cares:

The Penn entourage got tired, and cold, after a hal-hour in his boat and retreated to a FEMA shelter set up to handle him and his crew.   Penn told WWN that Staten Island residents were weeping when they saw him.
“I can’t believe that piece of garbage came here,” Tony Fiori told WWN.   Seems like Sean isn’t as popular with the locals as he thinks.   “If he brings his camera anywheres near me and cousins, he’s gonna get a baseball bat in the back of the head,” said Vinny Gugliotti.

Meanwhile, FEMA has run out of water on Staten Island.  FEMA!  But Sean Penn says that he agrees with Chris Christie and reportedly said, “President Obama is the greatest disaster President we’ve ever had.  People in Staten Island are thrilled with Obama and FEMA and everything is just going so great here.”
Not really.  Staten Islanders are angry – no food, water and no heat.  They feel forgotten.
