Selena Gomez is reportedly set to star in the adaptation of E.L. James blockbuster novel, 50 Shades of Grey.
Selena Gomez released a parody of the trilogy “Fifty Shades of Grey” on Funny or Die entitled Fifty Shades of Blue.
She caught the attention of producers of the film adaptation of the novel and sources in Hollywood are reporting that Selena has inked a deal to star as Anastasia opposite Robert Pattinson, who will be playing Christian Grey.
Sources close to Selena say that the popular actress started reading the novels after dumping Justin Bieber. “She needed something to get lost in and the 50 Shades of Grey trilogy was the perfect thing for her,” said an assistant to a Gomez insider. “She loved the novels and is thrilled to have the opportunity to play Anastasia. She’s already preparing for the role by spending time in a sex dungeon.”
E.L. James has personally approved of Gomez for the lead. “She not only approved of Selena, she personally tied up Selena and beat her with a whip.”
I saw that video and it was kinda hilarious specially the way Selena looks when she tries to look cute for the guy, I think she will do great with this adaptation.
