Virgin Galactic launched Ashton Kutcher into space. He’s headed for the moon.
On the same day that Richard Branson announced that Ashton Kutcher was the 500th future astronaut picked by Virgin’s Astronaut Relations Department, they also decided to launch Ashton into space – for a trial run.
The special Kutcher Launch had been planned for years and after Ashton (Astronaut 500) accepted his position, Branson put him on the Virgin Galactic space module and launched him into space.
Kutcher said he was “stoked” to be on the rocket ship. He is thrilled to be among the first citizens to fly into outer space and cross and experience the magic of space for himself.
The journey cost Kutcher $200,000 (which is about what he makes for ten minutes on Two And A Half Men). Kutcher is reportedly worth $140 million. Other celebrities are on the list for space flight with Virgin Galactic – Tom Hanks, Katy Perry, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie – but they were not on the moon launch today. Stephen Hawking was supposedly irate that he was not put on the rocket to the moon today, so he went to a strip club to help calm his nerves.
Kutcher will be back from the moon by next week. Meanwhile, Charlie Sheen is headed for Mars.
Virgin Galactic started taking reservations for space flight in 2007. There’s a special launch planned for December 20, 2012, the day the Mayans said the world will end. Book it now!
but what if he dies?
This is great! Send the dufus up there and leave him.
The funny part is that there are no bases on either the moon or Mars.
His hair grew in space!
Very interesting:)
I guess this is ok as long as he is able to get back and continue filming his show.
Whats so great about Ashton anyway? His ego is larger than his bank account.
Hot new !!! Thanks for share
Too bad we can't just leave him up there.
He can see Demi from there.
Very clearly photoshopped (see image 4)
Nice post. I was checking continuously this blog and I am impressed! Very helpful info particularly the ultimate part 🙂 I maintain such information much. I used to be looking for this certain info for a very long time. Thanks and good luck.
Hope they really send him, leave him up there and bring back Charlie Sheen 😀 The show was far better with Charlie than this astronaut
