CHICAGO, IL – Oprah reveals her big family secret on Monday. She has an identical twin!
Earlier this week, Oprah Winfrey announced that she will have an out of the ordinary show this Monday. Winfrey explained to her audience that she will be reunited with a special family member from her past. Harpo Inc. declined to give any further information regarding the reunion, shedding little light on the details beyond a few quotes from Winfrey herself.
“I was given some news that literally shook me to my core. This time, I’m the one being reunited,” she said. “I was keeping a family secret for months, and on Monday you’re going to hear it straight from me.”
The Weekly World News will not wait for the Big O to divulge her little secret. We put our crack investigative team on the case to uncover the Oprah family dirt. After hours and hours of searching and sleuthing, up and down, in and out, tapping all of our sources, WWN finally discovered who the mystery guest will be for this Monday’s show.

The thought of the queen of media having a twin should not be that much of a surprise. Winfrey was born a bastard child to unmarried teenage parents – Vernon Winfrey and Vernita Lee. Being that her parents were children themselves, when Vernita Lee gave birth, alone, to twin girls she immediately knew that she could only care for one.
Vernita Lee left Oprah’s sister, Orpah, in a picnic basket at the steps of the French Camp Academy, a 900-acre Christian boarding school and community, some 30 odd miles from Kosciusko, Mississippi, where the girls were born. Oprah has always said that her name on her birth certificate was Orpah – but now we know that there were two names on two birth certificates.
The young, single mother was heartbroken to leave Orpah, but she knew that it was the right thing to do.
It is unclear what happened to the Orpah after she was abandoned. Did she flourish in the Christian community and devote a life to the ministry? Did she run away and succumb to an unsavory lifestyle on the streets of Jackson, MS? Did she garner the same level of success as her superstar sister?
To find out the answers to these questions and many more, all of us will have to watch this Monday’s episode. The Oprah Winfrey Show airs Monday through Friday at 4pm on ABC.

No, its definitely a twin, I heard about this from other sources as well. It is true.They confirmed it with the birth certificates.

Well this is more likley ture but I really think she would have known this by now. Maybe just now bring to public. I also would think that she would know if her child was really a live too not like she dose not have the means to know or find any of these things out. She may just wanted all this to be keep in the dark till now. Just my thoughs.
If Oprah had or has..an identical sister, then why has that fact not been revealed by now?

then I find it hard to believe that information would not have been made public by now.
If I was going about my business…and saw a woman who looks IDENTICAL to Ophrah just
minding her own business somewhere…I know for a fact I would have tried everything in my power to say "hello" to her, ask for her autograph, or a photo, etc., etc….then to only find out that this person is not the "real" Oprah?? I would not have believe her..and I'm sure others would feel the same way also. It just does not seem logical that this information has not been made publice by know. Thoughts?

I cannot believe that this is true. As famous as Ophra is, this would have come out long ago.
Whether this is true or not I dnt knw. But i nevr heard the lady proclaime herslef 2 be a Saint of any sort. What I knw 2 be true is that she's an entertainer. Her job is 2 entertaine and all the people around her are more then willing to keep their paychecks coming. She might hav knwn all this 4 sumtime but ddnt want 2 knw the whole truth. She's still human. Oprah is awsome I think. Nevr done much4 me other than show up on my tv givin me sumthin 2 watch.But she has certainly done alot 4 people in her time just becuz she could. So in my book Oprah's just great its not her fault the world see's fit 2 pay her more then we pay the people who are saving lives & teaching our kids. But oh well.

I thought at first that it might be her child and was hopping it was. Oprah would be a wonderful mother. Oprah is the most giving and kind person in the world. I wish her only the best. She has worked hard all her life and I have so much respect for her.
I will be watching to see what the surprise is. If its a identical twin, thats a huge surprise. Oprah has been a huge success with her show and all thats in there. First she never married her boyfriend, and probably won't. I believe that he does't want to be nicknamed Mr. Oprah and wants a life of his own.
She does need Jesus, that would be a huge commitment on her part. Imagine what would happen, if she actually had Jesus in her life. Her show would take on a newer adventure. And her followers would be more. All we can do for her is pray for her.
I thought it was interesting the other day when someone on I believe "The Weekend Today Show", made a reference to Oprah's "follwers". This is interesting to me because I feel that is exactly what they are and it is almost cult-like. I used to be a HUGE Oprah FAN and would tape her show without fail, each and everyday. Then I saw the light. I saw a change in her where it seemed to me that her ego had gotten way too big and that people were blinding following her! There are people who actually follow and worship this woman as if she were the second coming of Christ. Well, she's not. That really started to scare and concern me that she had begun to believe her own hype. There are a lot of people out there who are extremely vulnerable and who are looking for someone else to tell them how to live their lives, what to believe, how to feel, etc. These are the people who are mainly in this "follower" group. It's dangerous people–to put anyone this high on a pedestal and to continually feed their ego.

also my first thoughts were that she's reuniting with her birthchild,years ago many babies born out of wedlock were taken away and the mother was told the baby died. I was totally surprized when just a few days ago I first heard she had had a baby, then right on top of that news heard she had a family secret to tell…………….some coincidence?

why the negatity from some of you? If you don't get the true meaning behind Oprah then don't watch or visit this site. Gravitate to what resonates with you. Oprah has changed my life for the better and we're not in a "cult" here. She is genuinely compassionate and has taught me so much about the real meaning of life.

One thing that's true about Oprah she always recognize that there is a higher power,if you claim to know Jesus and find it easy to pull others down what should we say about you, lets Pray for others and take the plank out of our own eyes. Who can cast the first stone Love not Hate and thank God her sister found her. People who hate their life find it easy to hate others do something good and love life. There is no Power grater than the Power of God Oprah knows that.Her sister knows Jesus Christ as Lord and knows the power of Prayer. I Pray that God will continue to bless them with spiritual blessing.
I am happy that Oprah finally gave some attention to the military men, women and their families. I think the war would be over if our leaders and government officials were aware of how the war destroys and or change families forever. I am a military wife ,I know the pain; I see the solders at VA. Many solders do not even have good wheel chairs .
