GARY COLEMAN DEAD

NEW YORK, NY – A former child star has sadly passed away!

Gary Coleman has lost his battle with an intracranial hemorrhage and passed away today. As his condition worsened, Coleman was taken off of life support.
“Diff’rent Strokes” star Gary Coleman had been placed on life support in a Utah hospital after he suffered a brain hemorrhage earlier this week, his manager said in a statement released by the hospital on Friday.
“We are saddened to announce that since mid afternoon, Mountain Time, on May 27, 2010, Mr. Coleman has been unconscious and on life support,” Coleman’s manager John Alcantar said in a statement.
Coleman, 42, was hospitalized on Wednesday after suffering an intracranial hemorrhage at his home in Utah, and the following day he was “conscious and lucid” before his condition worsened.
Contrary to media reports, the former child star has not undergone any surgery and his family hopes for a full recovery.
“At times, it may not have been apparent, but he always has had fond memories of being an entertainer and appreciates his fans for all their support over the years,” Alcantar said.
Coleman is best known for his stint on TV’s “Diff’rent Strokes,” which aired from 1978 to 1986. In February, Coleman suffered a seizure on the set of “The Insider.”
Coleman has lived in Utah since 2005, when he starred in the movie “Church Ball,” a comedy based on Mormon church basketball leagues. He met his wife, Shannon Price, during filming and the two later married in 2007.
“At this critical moment, we can only ask for your thoughts and prayers for Gary to make a speedy and full recovery,” Alcantar said in his statement.

  1. Good stuff! I travelled to Britain this summer and had my first ever afternoon tea with scones , and it was so delicious I thought I’d make my own last weekend. I might have broken a few rules maybe – I found a website full of random scone recipes here and made 4 different ones! My friends were so happy when I invited them round for tea and scones, complete with real whipped cream. Lots of fun!
