SHIA LABEOUF SLAMS TRANSFORMERS 2

FRANCE – One of the stars of the Transformers franchise promises that the next installment will be better than the last!
Shia LaBeouf was not impressed with Transformers 2. According to him, the movie got too big for its own good, but he promises that the third one will bring the heart back into the franchise.
“When I saw the second movie, I wasn’t impressed with what we did,” LaBeouf said in an interview at the Cannes Film Festival. “There were some really wild stunts in it, but the heart was gone.”
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was a tremendous box office success but critics didn’t exactly have the movie high on their favorites list. Critics shared LaBeouf’s sentiment and were less than impressed with the film.
“We got lost. We tried to get bigger. It’s what happens to sequels. It’s like, ho do you top the first one? You’ve got to go bigger,” LaBeouf said. “Mike [director Michael Bay] went so big that it became too big, and I think you lost the anchor of the movie … You lost a bit of the relationships. Unless you have those relationships, then the movie doesn’t matter. Then it’s just a bunch of robots fighting each other.”
LaBeouf also adds that the movie will have a greater impact on humans in the film and that it will be “the craziest action movie ever made.”
