NEW YORK, NY – Maxim’s most anticipated list of the year has a new No. 1!
Kim Kardashian, Megan Fox and Christiana Aguilera are just a few of the names on the Maxim Hot 100 List. All worthy candidates for the No. 1 spot on the list, but that honor goes to Katy Perry this year.
The “I kissed a Girl” singer topped the list which includes past winners such as Olivia Wilde, Eva Longoria and Marissa Miller. Swimsuit model Brooklyn Decker and “Avatar” actress Zoe Saldana come in second and third respectively.
“It’s that feeling you get when you suddenly realize that the smartest, funniest, coolest girl you know also happens to be the best looking and a pretty good skateboarder too,” Joe Levy, Maxim editor in chief, told ABC News. “All of a sudden, your crush goes supernova, and this is Katy’s supernova movement.
The U.S. singer is currently engaged to British comedian Russell Brand. Last year’s winner, Wilde, was bumped down to 20 on the list. Perennial list powerhouse, Angelina Jolie, dropped all the way down to 38. Lindsay Lohan, a past No. 1, didn’t even crack the top 100 and that should be of no surprise given her recent troubles.
