LONDON – A British scientists has laid down his warnings when it comes to alien contact!

Stephen Hawking has gone ahead and warned that alien contact should be avoided as the consequences could be devastating. Hawking, 68, warns that jealous aliens could one day want to steal Earth’s resources.

“I imagine they might exist in massive ships, having used up all the resources from their planet. Such advanced alines would perhaps become nomads, looking to conquer and colonize whatever planets they can reach,” he said.

According to his research, with 100 billion galaxies, each with hundreds of millions of stars, Earth is highly unlikely to be the only planet with life. “The numbers alone make thinking about aliens perfectly rational. The real challenge is to work out what aliens might be like,” he says on the probability of alien life existing.

“If aliens ever visit us, I think the outcome would be much as when Christopher Columbus first landed in America, which didn’t turn out very well for the Native Americans,” Hawking warns. He makes these and many other predictions in a new TV series, “Into the Universe with Stephen Hawking,” on the Discovery Channel.
