FRANK RIBERY PROSTITUTION SCANDAL

FRANCE – A French soccer star at the top of his game has landed in some hot water with a recent scandal!
Frank Ribery is regarded as one of the best soccer players France has to offer. He, along with a select few, have been touted as France’s new soccer revolution and have been tasked with bringing France to the top of the soccer world. Ribery, however, is facing uncertain times as he has factored into a prostitution scandal. Also involved in the scandal are French players Karim Benzema and Sidney Govou.
Ribery has admitted to having sex with a 17-year-old prostitute. Although prostitution is legal in France, its practitioners need to be over the age of 18. He has denied knowing that she was underage. Ribery has not been charged with a crime, but the damage has been done regardless.
Ribery has the prostitute with which he slept with on his side. Zahia Dehar, now 18, has said that she is “shocked” that the players involved may face jail time. She has insisted that Ribery, Benzema and Govou treated her with “utter respect” and should be left alone.
Dehar was one of 18 girls questioned by officers during a police raid on the Cafe Zaman, a nightclub on the Champ Elysee.
With the World Cup around the corner, it remains to be seen if France coach Raymond Domenech will name Ribery to the team’s World Cup squad.
