ENGLAND – An animal straight out of a movie has attracted the curiosity and interest of people all over the globe!
When someone hears of a “sheep pig,” skepticism is sure to follow. It sounds more like an animal you’d see in a movie or in a cartoon, but a sheep pig is actually a real animal. It is your traditional curly-tailed pig covered in sheep’s wool.
The animal is native to Austria and Hungary and is known in the zoological world as a Mangalitsa. The Tropical Wings Zoo in Essex, England recently took in three of the rare animals. It’s part of a newly initiated education and breeding program.
