VANCOUVER – America’s favorite mutant has made a more than welcomed appearance up north!
Norman Rothstein Theatre opened its doors to Bat Boy: The Musical this past Friday. The audience was more than pleased and laughter could be heard from start to finish. Directed by Peter Jorgensen for Patrick Street Productions, the play mixes great acting with a touch of brilliant cynicism, intelligence mixed with blood, and delivers a mix of Hair and a Beastie Boys concert.
“As far as musicals go, it’s been the role of a lifetime,” said Scott Perrie, who plays the lead role of Bat Boy. “It allowed me to get in touch with my inner beast.”
