MEGAN FOX TAKES ON SCHOOL BUDGET CUTS

LOS ANGELES, CA – In the fight against school budget cuts, California has gotten some prominent reinforcements!
FunnyorDie.com is back at it with another video that bring awareness to a pressing matter. This time they are taking on the proposed California school budget cuts with the help of Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green.
Fox urges viewers to “call, write and annoy the governor until he cries for his mommy.” According to both, more than $17 billion has been cut from state educational programs over the past two years and the “terminators in Sacramento” plan to cut another $2.5 billion.
In the video, Fox stumbles into a classroom full of children when she gets lost looking for the library. The video shows an obviously overcrowded classroom and the students claim that they have lost most of their teachers, the school nurse and the janitorial staff. Fox is appalled to these revelations but an actor playing one of Gov. Schwarzenegger’s aide continues to bring children into the classroom. When confronted about the issues, the aide simply makes references to the obstacles that the Governator overcame.

  1. As a twenty year teacher I have never seen education take as many hits as now. My district has laid off 147 teachers out of a teaching staff of 600 district wide. No nurse's aids at all next year, reduced administrators, custodians, counselors, numerous class programs are just gone,as are summer school and other credit recovery programs. What will go up? Class size, student failure rates, and drop outs. What won't go up test scores. We are failing are students. What parent wants their kids to have it worse than they did??????

  2. If teachers stopped getting guaranteed raises, tenure, and no responsibility except for having kids pass standardized tests maybe I would feel sorry for them.
Like most other jobs they should be pay for performance. Teachers, just like most people on the Obama plan are looking to be part of our Nanny society and milk the system
