UMA THURMAN'S MOVIE FLOP

NEW YORK, NY – One actress got a double dip of bad news this past weekend!
Uma Thurman has had her share of success in Hollywood. Starring in films such as Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill have brought Thurman respect and acclaim throughout Hollywood. Much to her dismay, her recent project will not be getting her any type of positive feedback.
Motherhood launched in the U.K. as an exclusive engagement at one theater. The move was supposed to generate buzz, but instead it generated a whole lot of nothing. The film brought in a grand total of $130 during the weekend of March 5 and it’s reported that only one person bought a ticket on March 7.
The movie fared slightly better in the U.S. during a limited release in October. It brought in just over $50,000 and has been able to scrap up a measly $701,000 total in worldwide box office.
That alone would make Uma Thurman want to crawl into a dark hole and cry, but the bad news doesn’t stop there. To add insult to injury, Thurman’s ex-fiancee Andre Balazs is reportedly dating bad girl Courtney Love. According to Love, the two are madly in love.
“I’m in lure. It’s nice. Scary. I’m a great catch and he can be a bad boy but he loves me. He is the sweetest thing and he actually totally does respect me. His manners are impeccable but he is funny too,” Love wrote in an email.
A few years ago, such a move by Balazs would have been considered a downgrade. However, given Thurman’s recent string of movie flops, perhaps the move isn’t so drastic after all.
