DEMI MOORE VS. KIM KARDASHIAN

 

MIAMI, FL – Demi Moore was less than impressed with Kim Kardashian’s choice of words this past Sunday!
Kardashian has been in the news recently thanks to her fifteenth breakup with football star Reggie Bush. To get her mind off of things, Kardashian had a girl’s night out in Miami with Kelly Rowland, Serena Williams and LaLa Vazquez. In one of her tweets, Kardashian dropped the word “pimpin” and that’s where Demi Moore took offense.
What Kardashian meant to be an innocent tweet to represent a fun girl’s night out, was taken completely out of context by Moore. She took it as a reference to slavery and took to Twitter to raise awareness on the issue.
“Big pimpin w @SerenaJWilliams, @LaLaVazquez @Kelly_Rowland Love u girls!” Kardashian posted.
“Are you using the word ‘pimpin’ as in pimping?” @MrsKutcher asked. “No disrespect I love a girls’ night out but a pimp and pimping is nothing more than a slave owner!”
Moore did not stop her lesson on the word there and made sure that Kardashian was better informed on the true meaning of the word and all of its connotations.
“If we want to end slavery, we need to stop glorifying the ‘pimp’ culture,” she added. “We have allowed it 2 B considered cool, but it still is what its!”
Kardashina, no stranger to Twitter drama, understood Moore’s point of view and didn’t seem to take much offense to her outlash.
“Nothing wrong with dancing to Big Pimpin by Jay Z in the club! Having a girls night out, gotta love that song,” she responded. “Good point! I agree! it was just a song not literal.”
 If anything was accomplished by this, it is the hope that the usage of “pimpin” will be better understood. Jay Z and his representatives might want to prepare themselves for a strong worded letter from Demi Moore.
