SUPERBOWL COMMERCIALS
February 5, 2010 by Dallas CommagreensLOS ANGELES, CA – WWN’s sports guru, Dallas Commagreens, has studied hours of video tape and selected his 10 favorite superbowl ads of recent memory.
We’ll start off with everybody’s favorite office linebacker. If you’re slacking or don’t have your eye on the prize, Mr. Tate will certainly give you a hit to put you back on track.
When this little guy came on the air, we couldn’t help but think at how cute he was. However, when he spoke, we couldn’t help and laugh at how funny this little baby was. E-trade hit a home run with this one.
This commercial gave a whole new meaning to, “where there’s a will there’s a way.” Gives you some ideas for the next time you’re dragged to a party you really don’t want to attend.
This commercial not only put together a great cast in the likes of Troy Aikman, Chris Katan and Busta Rhymes but it also chose a phenomenal song. Not to mention a great parody of the once classic movie, “A Night at the Roxbury.”
We got comedy through the expense of one of music’s biggest stars in this one. Pepsi teamed up with Justin Timberlake to deliver an unexpected, but hysterical ad.
This gave us a blast from the past. I’m sure a majority of people can remember the show “Salute Your Shorts” and one of its most memorable characters in donkey lips. Well this brought Mr. Lips back to the main stage in a great AMP commercial.
Bud Light showed us a new way to decide who gets the last beer. Just make sure it’s someone you really don’t care about!
This Careerbuilder commercial showed us that we don’t have to put up with a job that isn’t worth our time. Don’t let your job kick your ass!
There’s not much to say about this old school Mcdonald’s commercial. It has Michael Jordan and Larry Bird and the greatest game of horse ever played. Enough said!
Lastly, we have a great Bridgestone tires commercial. When you’re caught in a tough situation, having the right tires can make a difference.
