GOTHIC KITTENS

WILKES-BARRE, PA – A woman from northeastern Pennsylvania gave her cats a makeover – by piercing them!
Holly Crawford, 35, pierced the bodies of three stray cats with the hopes of selling them online as “Gothic kittens.” Well that plan has backfired and now Crawford is accused of cruelty to animals and criminal conspiracy.
Humane officers and state police who searched Crawford’s home last year seized three kittens with ear, neck, and tail piercings. One kitten lost a tail due to a piercing on its tail that prevented blood flow.
Crawford defends her actions by saying that there is no evidence that she acted “wantonly and maliciously.” Her attorney, John Pike, says,”Why is it a crime to pierce a cat’s ears?”
Crawford has gone on record as to saying that she doesn’t see the difference between piercing a cat or a human. “When I did it, it wasn’t with any cruel intentions,” she said. “They were definitely loved, well fed, no fleas, clipped nails. And they were happy.”

  1. Let's pierce the crab who did this to the kittens without any kind of anesthesia and see how 'neat' she thinks it is – we'll start with her cl*t!!

  3. I think as long as you are not going overboard (piercing just ears, just nose, just lower lip) it should be ok. It's like anything else in the world….don't do it in excess
