PLANE LANDS ON NJ TURNPIKE

CHERRY HILL, NJ – A small two-passenger plane made an emergency landing – on the New Jersey Turnpike!
A single-engine plane was forced to make an emergency landing after the low oil pressure indicator went off. As the plane was being use to provide traffic reports to Philadelphia’s KYW-AM and KYW-TV, it was flying directly over the New Jersey Turnpike.
With nowhere else flat enough to land on, the plane was forced to use the turnpike as a runway!
Authorities say the two people aboard were not injured, however the plane immediately caused massive delays for the traffic it was originally reporting on!
